Well Action Communications is a Brisbane marketing communications agency owned by sisters, Sherryl Caulfield and Anita Beasley. In 2016 we added an office on the Sunshine Coast, not far from where we grew up, and where we have returned, after working further afield for many years.

We are sisters who grew up on a dairy farm in south-east Queensland. In our youth, we were creative and into music, sports, animals and the outdoors. Not much has changed.
Growing up in Queensland — and in Australia for that matter — it’s impossible not to be enamoured with birds — something we inherited from our father. As a small boy, our dad had homing pigeons. He learnt how to hypnotise chickens to make them fall a sleep and to this day, he can still do this. Now in his golden years, watchings birds fly in for a daily bird bath in his front yard is a daily highlight — and a sign that while many things change, some things remain the same.
Here, at Action Communications, we carry his love of birds with us and have had the privileged of being enthralled with our own bird experiences across Australia and around the world.

Sherryl has a Bachelor of Business in Communications, a certificate in creative writing and has published a Canadian fictional series called The Iceberg Trilogy.

Anita has a BA with a double major in journalism and a Graduate Diploma in Communications, majoring in Advertising.
